Piotr Tolmachov (BY)

In 1995, Piotr Tolmachov graduated from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, speciality “Automated Information Processing Systems”, with the specialization in “Intelligence Systems”. Now living in Antwerp, Piotr has particular interest in restoration, modification, midification of old soviet analogue synthesizers to be able to control them and create moving, kinetic sound surfaces full of electricity. As an artist he participated in different projects related to sound: travelling artistic residences, sound installations, sound compositions for dance performances, solo projects, and collaborations with jazz musicians. At Freemote he will do a very unique solo performance you can not miss.
