Sebastiaan ter Burg
Sebastiaan is often called an open content evangalist. He uses Creative Commons as part of his business model for his photography and films. He is also involved in the Dutch open data movement as chairman of the “Wouldn’t you like to know” foundation (stichting Dat Zou Jij Wel Willen Weten) and as projectmanager for Rotterdam Open Data. He’s been organising Nerds Unite!, a monthly open data event in Utrecht, for over a year and is currently working on an urban projected open data visualisation.
Freemote will see the premiere - or first try-out - of the Creative Commons Caravan. If Sebastiaan is an evangalist, than this would be his church: a physical and virtual spot to share the content that people want to share with others to remix. The caravan itself is the canvas to show the content that’s available under a Creative Commons license. So, do you want to share your work with the others at the festival and the rest of the world? Come visit the Creative Commons Caravan!
